At our core, we are a team of developers looking for a challenge. Though we have been known to do just about any interesting project that needs a unique solution, we specialize in building platforms for content and data publishing. Our focus is on creating applications and websites that integrate novel technology approaches with a simple and elegant user interface.

Seabourne began as an experiment: was it possible to create a company that could do both client work and internal development and be successful?

We are passionate about ideas, and wanted a place where we could help people using cutting-edge technology, and spend time developing our own products. From websites to development tools, we are consistently looking for real world problems that can be solved with technology, and using our own resources to develop the solution.

Since the beginning, we’ve grown from a single part time employee to eight full time team members based out of Washington, DC and spread across the United States. Our projects range from enterprise scale websites like FCC.gov to development tools for cloud applications (Cumula) to small scale utilities (Sambot).
